Building Sustainability

At Steel, LLC, environmental sustainability is at the core of our operations. Our structural steel shapes in the U.S. average 92–93% recycled content, and we prioritize locally sourced and fabricated materials to reduce transportation-related emissions.

With a strong understanding of LEED building requirements and supporting documentation, we help projects achieve their sustainability goals efficiently. As a certified “non-generator” of hazardous waste, we ensure safe, responsible practices across our operations. Additionally, we recycle 100% of our scrap steel, returning it to the supply chain for future builds and further minimizing environmental impact.
