Hangar 7 at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in San Diego, CA was designed and constructed to support MV-22 Osprey and CH-53 helicopter operations. It provides spacious maintenance bays and specialized areas for training exercises, ensuring squadron readiness and operational efficiency. The hangar’s open interior is made possible by long-span box trusses and girders, which eliminate the need for interior columns creating plenty of space for oversized aircraft.
