The Assembly Yards film studio complex in Doraville, Georgia was developed by transforming the sprawling former General Motors assembly plant into a cutting-edge entertainment production campus. The project spans nearly one million square feet and includes soundstages, mill space, production offices, warehouses, and themed backlot façades designed to accommodate a wide range of filming needs.

Architecturally, the campus features destination-style façades that replicate real-world streetscapes, along with a striking 140-foot media tower positioned at the main entrance. The structural design emphasizes durability and flexibility, utilizing robust industrial framing, tilt-wall construction, and specialized infrastructure capable of supporting heavy multimedia equipment. The site also incorporates public-facing elements such as a four-acre park and integrated stormwater features, blending functionality with environmental consideration.

Long-span roof trusses are a defining feature of the studios, creating expansive, column-free interiors that provide the open space necessary for large-scale production sets and complex filming environments.
